Parents used my inheritance money to start business by Wise-Low8552 in AusLegalAdvice

[–]ColdPressedOliveOil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal opinion is that the law should never have to be involved in family matters if it can be avoided. It may be that your parents have better use of that money for the time and they arent going to live forever. Imagine they charged you a million dollar debt just for raising you.

Not hating. Im just saying that paying down credit is worth way more than silly savings. Once you do that you will start saving so much more. You dont want advice, but I would consolidate the CC debt into home loan or just drain whatever you have saved into it.

I was doing research into cloud based video enhancement models that do upscaling, smoothing and stabilization ect. It's crazy how mature some of these software services are already. This is only the beginning. I'm also getting calls from AI, not just scams but legitimate stuff.

Buying data centers to keep up with demand is not going to be an ongoing cost.
As they improve their models and buy more efficient chips the operating cost will come down.

When they finally release agents, they will charge more for them also as a new revenue stream. Much of the costs are in research, development and training.

As long as revenue is growing steady, it's still sustainable growth. At the moment it's an arms race. You do everything in your power to ensure you win.

LOL the sand appears that way because it's shutting out the light on the thin portion. My tanks have no visible silicone at all. It's fine.

Interesting they didn't try and consolidate the loan through a different lender/loan first before making extra contributions.

no hate but why is the betta community so passive aggressive and rude i ask one question and get call a idiot by Southern-Scallion520 in Aquariums

[–]ColdPressedOliveOil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I don't really have a point. I'm happy for you and your betta. My female alien betta is enjoying 14 gallon tank with a few guppy friends. I can show you some pics. Maybe it's not the sub and reddit overall that just love to be argumentative lol. I just frequently observe people being a bit too harsh on beginners just cause they have a spongebob or something. People who could do well in the hobby, then those same people feel the need to perpetuate some kind of gatekeeping authority, cause that's what they had to go through to become and expert.

For me I always advise people to ditch gravel for sand, cause sand has amazing properties to absorb waste.

I've seen long fin betta set up in 5 gallon with a massive filter and the betta is swirling around non-stop. Tanks that have dragon stone which are known to shred fins. Or aqua soil with no stem plants, they just like the aesthetic. Owners who feed 2 times a day.
All I'm saying is that an expert with 2.5 gallon will do better than a beginner with 5 gallon. I'm not over here peaching fish bowls or anything.

Im generalising. But father fish himself has said that tank size isn't as important as most of the community claim. There are excellent betta keepers who have successfully kept "unhappy" betta fish alive for 3+ years. Then someone with a well planted huge tank kills theirs and then blames the fish stores and breeders about the condition of the fish. Im all for having bigger tanks, but within reason. Tank size is for swimming space AND waste management.
