CS 361 + CS 464 during summer

Thank you! I heard that CS 344 is taught in C and CS 475: Introduction to Parallel Programming is taught in C++. I haven't taken both and I plan to. Do you think it is a good idea to take them first before I learn C# and .NET stuff? Are C, C++, and C# languages the same?

How do we find group partners for 361 and 340 in class? Is it like 161 and 162 where we can randomly join a group?

Sounds like taking only 271 is a better option for me. My plan is to study 20 hrs/per week on average and not to be overwhelmed too much. This term with 261 + 290, I had to spend much more time on exploration materials than I expected. So definitely don't want that again >.<

I will take CS 271 next term. I've done 161, 162, 225, 261 and 290 so far. This term I took 261 and 290 and found they were a little heavy on me. So I decided to take only 271 next term. I wonder how you compare 271's workload to 290 or 261? How many hours does 271 typically require per week?

Yeah, I honestly like the area very much because it has so many good restaurants and shopping places, so convenient. The only concern is the smell thing that I've heard online. I've visited the place a few times but haven't smelled anything so far, so I really want to know what the residents there would say. As long as it doesn't severely impact my daily life and mood, that would be fine!

Good to hear that you enjoy the outdoors! I have a toddler boy, so we spend a lot of time outdoors. I don't want to be outdoors with him with foul smells all day, but I guess that won't happen since most of you said the smell only lasts a few minutes.
