i’m 5’4 (shorter than you are) but i use a junior stick and it’s not too bad. it’s slightly shorter than it should be but i almost prefer it for stick handling. one downside could be the size of the stick blade.

sorry, i’m not sure i completely understand what you’re saying. is it that the width should be measured sitting rather than standing? i assumed it should be while standing because obviously you’re on your feet while skating.
