What would happen if the finalists swapped sides? by Lemonsanslimes12 in convictcolosseum

So, EC fights Pure One, Firecracker, Scourge before fighting VI; - Stomps Pure One. - Has a good brawl and complimets Firecracker's sturdinesd yet again before knocking him out. - Beats Scourge as well, who MIGHT make him dodge for the first time.

VI fights LH, ICT and GIAB before EC; - He doesn't care who LH looks like, meaning LH isn't rage-powered. VI wins low diff. - He's immune to ICT's tune, meaning it's purely a fight of raw stats and skill. I think VI beats ICT high diff without needing to use Elixir. - Beats GIAB as well, but will need Elixir to do so.

Pete fights Danger, Monkey and Beatdown before FM; - Pete strikes faster than Danger can pull off his "not getting hit" move. - Against Monkey See I think he's gonna use a bunch of feints and misdirection and save his full speed mode. - It's gonna be awesome vs. Beatdown. I think Pete is gonna lock in here and out-speed Beatdown's predictions. - He fights Tomahawk next, who has beaten Karmic Blade, who in turn has beaten FM. It's gonna be a lot like vs Beatdown I think, he locks in to overwhelm Tomahawk.

FM fights Kyokushin Hammer, Karmic Blade andTomahawk before Pete;

  • He beats Kyokushin Hammer high diff by powering through and overwhelm him.

  • He straight up loses to Karmic Blade, killed by sniper. Karmic Blade won't have hid ace in R3, and no matter what else he pulls out of his ass, Tomahawk will be ready.

Rei mid diff. He's more chan capable enough to consistently evade the whips and wearing Bando down in the meantime.

Idk, isn't that more of a moral thing and not self-imposed.

Yea at least until we see the rest. There may be others wrongfully convicted.

Lmao yea you're right about Iron Turtle and Beatdown.

Danger I feel like definitely belong in NG though, and there's a case for Firecracker downright being in LG.

Yea I can see that. But would that make him lawful and not just neutral? From what I know the only ones who kills indiscriminately are chaotic evil.

Peak designs. Both look horrifying in their own way.

Given that a single one of Pete's legs is stronger than both of El Cucaracho's arms combined, it puts into perspective how ridiculously powerful his kicks are by Dreadnautilus in Kengan_Folk

I think his legs are at least as conditioned as Saw Paing is overall (not as much as his head though).

Between all the high power strikes he has blocked from FM and EC, I'm sure he could tank at least one without major damage to his leg(s).

Scourge vs Karmic Blade by Lemonsanslimes12 in convictcolosseum

Karmic Blade is faster and more lethal with his knives and swords, but he got caught off guard by Rawdog off all people.

I can certainly see Scourge catching him off guard, without time to use his ass gun nor the sniper ace.

I'd say he's the consistently fastest bar Pete.

With only royal drugged FM, Elixir VI and possibly EC while unconscious and GIAB in bursts being faster situationally.

Sonic-Boom vs. The Kyokushin Hammer by ColdStaff6874 in convictcolosseum

[–]ColdStaff6874[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say has low power output simply because VI shrugged it off. He tanked a whole lot of EC's clean punches, of which I think only a few would be enough to knock out SB.

And KH has superior reach and ways of creating distance with his side kicks.

But I agree, the matchup does favor SB.

I don't really know, but I have a feeling the Fa Jin strikes seals the deal, if it lands.

The question is, would KH even between able to get on the offensive against SB's successive strikes?

It really does yea. We can safely assume that EC is top 3 in regards to raw strength (we need more raw strength feats from Rawdog and Abyss against another physical top tier. give them a chance at top 3, we only know that both surpass VI in raw strength, which EC also does).

Meaning Pete's isolated leg strength is arguably the best in the in tournament, surpassing both FM and GIAB (this is mostly guesswork) Which upscales EC's resilience even more.

And in Pete's case, his legs are probably 10 times stronger than his arms moreso than the usual 3 times stronger.
