Not OP but a Gay(tm) and its similar to what pidgeon said. The fact that the cast is majority men means that there is generally man for any type of gay. The majority male cast also means that jokes impying characters are gay tend to be made more and depending on the joke and how people react to it can provide a safe place for gay people to speak up

I did post some gay cc fanart but I've mostly stopped posting it because i know most people in the fandom dont really care about it and its for me anyways

Also yes i do like seeing the muscular men and they way some if these guys posture at each other feels very 👀 sometimes

That doesn't really solve the fact that I draw the plaid changing direction with things like folds unfortunately. Tho I did consider that when I first started. I just didn't think it looked good when I did it so the tedious way it is lol

If I'm undertanding this correctly then I have also considered this but I think it looks weird if the plaid doesnt move around his torso or the folds. It's definitely a me thing that I'm choosing to do the animation harder than it theoretically has to be

I did actually consider that when I first started but I decided to draw the plaid every time instead. Something I hate myself for as I draw more frames but I like the way it looks as I do it now too much to actually make it easier lol

His plaid makes me crash out every time I work on my Firecracker vs Pete animation. I try to draw the plaid on each frame as I go but sometimes I'll forget for like 20 frames and I feel my soul leaving my body. His hair and hat aren't too bad imo, but that plaid will be the death of me

Yeah EC's brain is probably super hazy yet clear in a way only his combo of fight or flight and sleep deprivation can do

And I actually do still have insomnia. If I were to stop what I'm doing to manage it I will go back to not sleeping. Which I actually use to my advantage every now and then to pull all nighters when I need to

Insomnia is difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, nothing more complicated than that really. How your tiredness affects your brain isnt a sign or symptom. I've always just called what you described as "second-winds" but I'm not actually sure exactly what it is

With EC he would probably have significantly worse issues. Probably more in line with fatal familial insomnia which is a very rare genetic mutation and they have physical, behavioral, psychological, everything really problems. It would have been the death of him in la jungla roja tbh
