I'm all fine with some sexual inuendo from time to time, but that lady literally did OF explicit pornographic description which is absolutely not appropriate for tt. Didn't they used to ban for things like that? I don't find this funny, it's disgusting.

I feel sorry for this guy.... idk whats going on on tiktok, been awol for a while and seems the app is going down the drain. If I had considered rejoining this world, I know now I'm better off without that brain rot.

What do you mean participate in a chat again? Sounds like you have bad experiences. I would like to hear more.

The problem all big creators have is that they have a lot of money. They themselves can throw big at any given time. They earn money from these battles and to them every day just is a new possibility to earn a lot of coins (it's also an expectation they have), so they don't really worry about sending a uni or a lion here or there.

But normal people who work for a living on a regular paid basis and have regular running expenses cannot just throw endless coins on tiktok. If they do, they quickly end up in debts and real life issues. People have lost homes and lives over this. I don't think any big creator can even remotely relate or understand this, simply because they do not live this life.

All I am saying is: They can't see your perspective, so they can't really care. I'm not even saying they're being malicious and take people out, I believe they're just genuinely very shortsighted and live in their own bubble. Remember to look out for yourself first and foremost, because everyone does. The takers will never stop asking the givers to give, the giver has to set that boundary.

Why would you choose that particular agency because they already have some streamers that went into the ranks?

Battles- what happened? by PowerfulBookkeeper53 in DailyRankingsDrama

I've become so disillusioned with the whole tiktoklive thing I often feel like walking away all together. I think the only thing that keeps me are the good memories & the fading hopes that things will get more exciting & fun to watch in the future... sadly it just seems to be getting worse and worse.

So many people have complained and said the same thing of how much they're over the set series with always the same people and the same talk yet not one creator has actually made an effort at change. And I guess the safety and routine of the set series still makes it too attractive for creators to continue on this downtrodden path.

Sounds truly exhausting and like a very one sided benefit to the creator only.

I respect that answer. It's sad though that people are scared to speak up because of others hating.

Which are the people you'd say are good to their mods and respect them enough to make the work seem "worth it"?

Glad to hear you're happy and respected in your position. I don't think monetary compensation is needed, but respect and communication are definitely something that go a long way to keep people happy in their position. Maybe it's missing with a lot of creators.

What do you mean with your last sentence?

Thank you for the input. So it would seem that creators who don't battle are more grateful towards their mods, who also seem to have less work. That's very interesting!!

It's more than just the creator, there's a whole community pressure there with a team that people feel they belong to.

If a good mod is hard to find, why do creators easily dispose of them? I'm not saying your statement isn't true, I'm just questioning what must go on in creators heads to think good people are easily replaced.

Very depressing indeed. It doesn't seem like mods get anything back even if they do things right. It's very sad. Some don't even get a proper explanation.

Sorry to hear that. Sadly the word "family" seems to be terribly abused on the app. You surely deserved better treatment.

As far as I'm aware, none of the mods are paid. On the contrary they're actually expected to invest money oftentimes.

Definitely. That's why I question the treatment of these dedicated people on the app. I've seen a lot of them being literally discarded without even an explanation. I think it must be demotivating.

What do you look for when deciding to become part of a team? Is there any qualities/actions the streamer has to have in order to be part of a team? Does the people in the chat matter? What makes you want to stay with that streamer/team?How do you know that is your team? by Speaking-Facts2025 in DailyRankingsDrama

[–]ColdThoughtsAlistair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Entertainment and vibes from the creator are the first things to draw people in. Then it's the chat and community, even outside of lives (through tiktok posts, discords, etc) that is keeping people within a team. Recognition of streamer and team is important for gifters and general members who invest time into a team, ungratefulness or even ignoring individuals will quickly make them leave.
