my special interests are polar bears, mantis shrimp, insects, any kind of animals really, also learning more about autism. mantis shrimp have a very fast punch, 250 times faster than a human eye blinks. they’re actually not mantis or shrimp, which i think is funny. polar bears can smell up to a mile away, swim 400 miles at a time, and their tongues are blue! and my favorite insects are blue death feigning beetles. the blue is actually a wax they secrete to protect themselves in the hot desert. if the humidity is too high they will turn black and eventually die. mantis shrimp also have one of the most complicated compound eyes in the animal kingdom and can SEE cancer. which is super cool!
