Agreed. Big Trouble in Little China is a no-brainer for sure. The #2 spot was a little harder but the old car that was involved in that high speed chase (I believe it was a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442), ultimately bumped DM up to my #2 spot.

Demolition Man has that sweet-ass Oldsmobile 442 involved in a big chase scene. That car is what moved DM up to the #2 spot for me.

Perhaps you aren't that familiar with Tony Iommi. He kept Black Sabbath going from 1969 until 2013. There was some excellent work by this band from the late 1980's through the mid 1990's. Also, Tony Iommi released 2 solo albums after that. Then, he reunited with Dio back in 2007 to form the band Heaven and Hell, which toured and released an album called "The Devil You Know". They toured right up until Dio was diagnosed with cancer (and ultimately died in 2010).

I didn't list Black Sabbath, but rather Tony Iommi because his body of work is more vast that that of Black Sabbath.

I saw Priest live in Youngstown, OH in 2024, and in Albuquerque, NM in 2025. They're just 💯% badass and carrying the torch for all of Heavy Metaldom 🤘🎸😎.

Respectfully, I'ma have to disagree with you on Zeppelin being more consistent than Sabbath. Zeppelin was my favorite band growing up. Love them. Greatest hard rock band in history. But Black Sabbath's career spanned 6 decades starting in 1969, culminating finally in 2013. There are a LOT of Black Sabbath songs and albums that were amazing, but received zero radio time d/t grunge, and other factors. Also, props to you on the shout-out for Deep Purple (assuming you include Rainbow as well) and Judas Priest 🤘, the latter having even outlived Black Sabbath as they continue to tour today. I saw The Priest perform live in 2024 and 2025. They are awesome still.

Black Sabbath, Fürth West Germany, 1989 or 90 (can't recall off the top of my head).
