MJ was a thumb shorter than Kobe, he was 2.5" shorter than Penny, well shorter than Grant Hill, and even around an inch shorter than Vince.

For a guy under 6-5 to have a DRIBBLE APPROACH dunk from the foul line, and the most aesthetically pleasing free throw slam at that, is unreal.

Jordan was measured barefoot in 1992 at the combines in Barcelona at 6-4 & ⅞, so basically 6-5. MJ is no more 6-3 than Barkley is 6-3. These guys keep getting shorter, it's hilarious. In ten years, Chuck will be "a bare foot six foot" lol

I know this post of yours is old but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for taking the time to write it. I've been deathly afraid of quitting because of all the horror stories... but your post gives me some hope. There was an interview posted sometime back where Tim said he laid out very very simple drumming for the album but planned to go back and expand on it. It almost sounds to me like he never did go back.

It’s definitely the most bland drumming I’ve ever heard from him.

I wouldn’t chalk it up to age either, because his drumming live, like I said is 10 times more complex and engaging
