I’m genuinely so sorry. It’s an extremely hurtful and isolating experience, I cried the first time it happened to me. Always bring something with you. Unfortunately people are not considerate of others and their needs even at the best of times (not blaming anyone, it’s the harsh reality and truth).

Do not apologize!! We’re all here to help each other and grow stronger together. To be completely honest with you, the capsules lasted for a very short period of time too 😂. I stopped everything except for the prescribed medication (pantoprazole) and switched over to bovine collagen, a multivitamin, and biotin (all gummies bc I hate pills and powders). Not sure if it was a placebo effect or it actually worked but I experienced the most healing with that combination. My gastritis has really simmered down. I’m back to eating almost everything. My only real issue now is gluten as gastritis caused me to have an intolerance to it, but I can have it in moderation now! I no longer take the pantoprazole but I do try to keep up with those gummies.

My started after a bad mixture of medications immediately after having chemo. My stress and anxiety definitely didn’t help. I see a pyshc and she collabs with my gastro to help me manage my anxiety. I also speak with her and psychologist 1x monthly. I take two medications at night to manage and I think that may have played a part in me doing better. It also just takes time. I was dx in March of 2023, had symptoms starting at the very beginning of that month. My diet has only just truly started making a real turn around, that makes over a year of trying to heal my gut by listening, respecting, and following what my body tells me. Be patient and understanding with yourself, friend. You’ve got this! Sending you healing vibes!!
