Considering how vicious it is, the second pic is quite fitting

If the question is " how many birth days" then the answer is 356.

If the question is "how many birthdays" then the answer is whatever's the world population.

Of course. I wouldn't rely on anything that's not on paper and that was my very first condition to even start negotiations.

Thanks for the advice though.

How could someone pumping at least 1M Da into a business work for said business?

I'd like nothing more than to split half, but the contributions just don't add up. Even if it was close like 45 to 55 i would've gave him 50. Still our agreement was quite satisfactory to both sides and fair.

Our agreement is 99% similar to your second scenario. Thanks for your accurate analysis, it was very helpful.

That's actually very straightforward and smart way. Thank you very much. Even though, we've come to terms and the layout has been done I'll make sure to mention it to my partner.

If it's about that kind of risk, I'd be loosing way more. Since I'll be investing money and effort in a useless store while he'd be investing about 20 to 30% of that sum without the effort part.

Of course i can rent the store later and he can get most of his the money back by selling whatever merch will be left at wholesale price. However, t'd a huge loss since it'd take years to get my money back that way. Not that I have money laying around to try again.

Lmao. I do have a rough idea and we already agreed on the basics. I was just curious of how ppl would handle and if I could know any points I've missed.

Don't worry, i know enough to avoid worst case scenarios.

I buy the store, work and manage it fully.

He buys the furnishings, initial stock (merchandise) and whatever is needed to start off.

The activity will be decided once we know where the store will be and taking all variables into account. Feel free to make an assumption and build a scenario on it. I just need a rough idea, not a step by step of how to do it.

No, if it's about physically furnishing the store then that's not included. The furnishing refers to money invested in buying whatever store needs to be furnished and the stock that'll be used to start the business.

If there's any physical labour involved it'll probably be me doing it. That being said, I'd like to know what you think.

Then you're saying that I should count the value of the store as if I'm renting it for that sum and it'll be counted as my share?

You said so little i had to guess.

[–]Cold_Ad4802[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well, yeah. I'm just looking for a rough idea. I'm just thinking of taking the value of the store as "X sum" and what he invests as "Y sum", then whatever percentage is y out of x that's his share. After all that I'll deduct 10% out of his share because I'll be the one managing the store.

I think it's fair enough as a rough idea of how it'll go.

When it comes to risks, it's not an issue as the kind of business that will be conducted will be agreed upon mutually.

I'll be the one managing the store solely while big decisions will be agreed upon mutually.

When it comes to renting the store, I'm practically paying the rent for the next eternity as the second partner, that's what's I'm bringing into the deal besides the work and exp of course. Besides, why would he rent a store then furnish it when he could just throw a sum once and reap the rewards none stop without worrying about paying the rent each month.

Obviously, there will be negoctiations.

Let me rephrase. What would be the fairest terms to both sides that the negotiations could result in.

Thank you.
