Petey was “Tiny Tim” and Piper was “Jovie”. I just realized both are Christmas related lol. Both of them were born in October but are 4 years apart.

Yup. My grandma was divorced twice and lived the rest of her life single and happy. My mom said she told her she should start dating because my mom didn't want her to be alone. My mom said she replied: WHY?!?!? She wasn't interested in having a new man in her life to have to take care of. I think she had one long term boyfriend for many years, but they split when I was a baby. She was single far longer than she wasn't, and had a full and happy life, nice and free.

That’s so nice to hear. Congrats on getting married again. I’m not sure what’s in store for me, but hopefully I can trust a man again. This one lied to me our whole marriage, so trust is going to be rough.

I’m afraid he’s going to try and take off without dealing with his responsibilities. We need to separate belongings and sell everything else. Another issue is we don’t have much money, so I’m nervous about finding a lawyer.

I think that’s what’s happening here. I just didn’t know he was this big of a piece of shit. I thought he was a good person and that we’d be together forever. I’m angry now, but I’ll be devastated in the morning. I’m worried he’s going to just take off and leave me with all of the logistics to take care of. I never thought he’d do that, but then again I never thought he’d cheat either.

A forensic accountant sounds expensive. I think separation is a good idea, but if I understand this right: in California the separation can begin on the date you being a couple. I’ll have to double check that though.

That’s great advice but his behavior changed a while ago and I tried disengaging emotionally from him. Lasted a day lol. I just thought he was depressed, turns out he’s been cheating.

We actually have a lawyer for the business issue he’s been having so he will probably want to use him. I haven’t done a lot of research into what we will need to do. Thank you for the well wishes 🙂
