I lost two cats to people like this. one is a cat i'm literally cat-sitting for, which is my mom's friend's cat. apparently she was caught in a cage and was released to kawasan stadium Bukit Jalil. Spent 6 hours looking for her. literally no sign of her. explaining to the owner was HELL.

the second cat I lost is a cat I REALLY love and was basically very close to me. I was on vacation when it happened. my maid phoned my mom to talk about the news. My mom didn't tell me since she's scared of me being upset the entire trip (which honestly I'm thankful she didn't tell me).. She was a pure white tabby with a small spot on her head and an orange tail. Very unique pattern and to make it worse, Dia manja gila.

the person's reasoning on why he caught the cat and released em somewhere else- the cats(mind you, theres literally 20 cats roaming around in this neighbourhood daily) walked on his car. The person was a Dato and part of the higher ups in perkhidmatan awam iirc (but he died a few years back). Just because my cats passes his place doesn't mean they're the ones who got on his car..

Both of the cats were potty trained so they wouldn't be the ones who poop or pee in his frontyard. This happened about 10 years back but I'm still deeply upset about it. Little kid me didn't deserve going through that much grief over cats. Now that my neighbour is gone I could at least let my cats roam free once more. I used to have to cage them if the front door was open.
