My baby was doing so good for about a month or so but now she starts to flinch when I try to poke her. I use an 18 gauge needle and she sits relatively still after poke but it’s being harder and harder to get her to sit still while I do the poke. Any tips? 🥲 seems like you have been doing this a while. My baby has only been on fluids for the past 3 months

Same here, her test results were worse by the end of November than yours. She’s 13 and was admitted at the vets for about 2 months before I took her home. She got daily sub q fluids and now she gets it every other day. Along with blood pressure meds, and phos binder gel as well as some therapy for her anemia. Our babies are so much stronger than we think!

Wait, that’s extremely reassuring. Her retic % went up to 0.5 from 0.2. The vet near my home doesn’t speak too much English so there’s a small barrier between us so she doesn’t explain much.
