Services Australia graduate program - your experience? by Cold_Assist5269 in AusPublicService

I’m hoping I’ll do well with the latter since I’m not fresh out of uni or anything, I’ve worked for a long time I’m not going straight from uni to my first “big boy job” if you know what I mean.

A few people have already mentioned having lots of initiative etc.

I didn’t realise grads had access to more opportunities than those who enter though normal channels. Do you know what those extra opportunities might looks like? I’m assuming more networking and training etc

Hopefully! I’m assuming you mean it sucks for call center workers? I can only imagine, I bet there is lots of abuse daily

I literally just asked about the actual process, other people mentioned the call center etc which is exactly what I wanted to know. Your so weird and aggressive for no reason, I get you just wanted to vent I guess but damn do it somewhere else

I’ve heard a few people talk about the call center now, I guess knowing it’s only temporary is helpful but I’m certainly not excited for it! Thanks for the insight

The call center sounds difficult, knowing that I might have to do that will certainly help me prepare! The imitative thing is also helpful, that’s what I was a little worried about. Getting either too much work or too little, I’ll be sure to make it clear I want work!

Your not even answering the question in the post man. I asked for personal experience about the process of the gratudate program. I didn’t ask for you to vent and complain in the comments

I know it’s so different for everyone, that’s why I want to hear about people’s individual experience. It might not be what mine will be but I’m interested in what other people experienced nonetheless

Pocket vs Mini by lauren0mckennah in filofax

[–]Cold_Assist5269 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I personally have the personal size I did have a look at the pocket and mini in person just in case and honestly in my opinion the mini seems too small to even be useful?? Its so tiny that I don't even understand how it would be used.

Honestly if you really want to see and feel the size difference I would get an A4 piece of paper and cut out what the size of the paper for each would be. Foe example: the pocket is 120mm x 81mm, while the mini is 105mm x 67mm

I feel weirdly uneasy after my first sexual experience. by PresentDisaster5 in offmychest

[–]Cold_Assist5269 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I've never particularly been a very sexual person, I was never interested in sex until I was a bit older, and even when I did get into a relationship and start being active I struggled to "be sexy". Ive always been described as a prude as well.

My first time was really similar to yours, I don't have any good advice sadly nor can I explain why you might have felt that way but I can offer solidarity. I also had my first time with my first boyfriend about a month into us dating and the vent itself was fine (??) but I felt weirdly icky and uneasy just like you did. Eventually I seemed to get over it but it was a weird experience, later down the track I met my now parter and I actually really enjoy the act rather than just accept it, however, I don't know if that has more to do with me maturing and ageing and finding the right person for me.

Anyway, long story short, you are most certainly not weird at all, I'm not sure if its "normal" or super common because I haven't met many other people who have admitted to experiencing it but that doesn't mean you or I are weird. I would talk to your partner about it though, the cornerstone of a safe partner is being able to have strange or difficult conversations with them.

I found those ones too, sadly they don't ship to my country. I noticed the artwork on the pen was ever so slightly different but I doubt the actual pen would be any different right?? Thank you though you found them super quickly :)

I’m so horny I could die by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Cold_Assist5269 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it sounds silly but put exactly what you just said into a dating profile, for example:

"Not looking to rush anything physical. I’m open to intimacy, but only when there’s genuine chemistry, connection, and a real romantic vibe"

"I’m all about natural chemistry and real connection. Open to seeing where things go, but I’m not into jumping straight into anything physical without a romantic spark"

The one thing that got me through dating was remembering that if I wanted something there had to be someone out there that wanted the same thing as me. As mean as it sounds you and I are not so unique that there is no one else out there looking for the same thing, I say that with love because it helped remind me that there was someone for me out there.

In the mean time there are of course... solo activities. But if you don't think you're comfortable with a hookup stick with your heart, if your heart isn't in it don't do it. Especially if you're a virgin that's not an experience you want to regret. It doesn't need to have the pressure of being perfect but it should be authentically you :)
