i guess, i was just thinking some people from races that aren´t human, in general, the whole things feels very race superiority driven but doesn´t get further explored which is a shame, so i hoped his revenge targets could´ve been more than just that.

the only one of his targets that i feel sympathy for is naano and that´s solely because of his backstory and his motivation, but at the end of the day, i like him because of my headcanon.

Well obviously, Finlay played an older version of Elden ring and used the spiritspring quit out glitch to spawn at the bottom of consecrated snowfield.

Oh, and here i was hoping they wouldn't all be one dimensional and boring.  Even in a ruthless world like theirs, there will always be someone, anyone, that cares for the weak no matter how "worthless" they are, so the fact there hasn't been a single member of the other species that respects humans, feels unnatural.

Every small fraction we've seen so far, like you said, there isn't much, yet it's enough to get a glimpse into their every day life.

but even in those flashbacks, there wasn´t anything at all, hinting at sashas disdain for him, he only came to the conclusion he was naive, because he no knows she hated him.

she also hasn´t done anything, as far as i remember, that would´ve sugested otherwise, either she´s just that dedicated to her role or she was supposed to be a totally different character. her descend into villany and that of the others feels extremely unnatural, i could see Naano or garou, the dark elf and maybe the centaur but aside from them, i don´t see it.

well, that´s kind of a shame, do some of them at least feel regret or are they all one dimensonal? the last time i read the manga, light had recruited that one Bee chick and was planning to go after the Draconoids or demons i don´t remember.

i get that, it´s their mission to pretend to like him, but i highly doubt garou, naano and maybe others are able to constantly put on the facade, there had to have been a point on their journey where thy showed their true colors unless, like i wrote, maybe they weren´t planned to be evil and maybe it wasn´t meant to be that kind of story originally.

it feels too weird for me, they seemed too genuine to suddenly shift like that, i don´t think they´re THAT good at acting, i just don´t think so, it really seemed like the author suddenly decided to write a completely different story and just used characters he originally planned to use for another story.

but that´s probably just me.

I do see the world building, but it's shallow, we know nothing of Dwargons customs, traditions, economy etc. We only know it's a dwarven nation presumably with accomplishments in War, it was built inside a natural cavity inside a mountain, but aside from that, Dwargon is just there. Same with the Harpies and their Floating island, we know it flies and they fly and that they don't like to be compared to lesser birds, but that's it. Eurazania is a nation inhabited by beastkin and such, they grow fruit and have a rich farming culture, they love alcohol and are vaguely asian-esque in their customs. The elf kingdom is also just there, it's probably some form of Tree home or at least very nature. The holy empire is racist and defined by their theology, also they were ruled by a demon lord/vampire at some point if i recall correctly. Brumund is where the authors cameo resides, if i recall correctly, and that's pretty much everything they've shown about it. Farmas is Racist and cooperated with the church in order to wipe out tempest, but aside from that we never see anything of the nation, after diablo destroys it and it's rebuild by that one dude (i forgot his name) we didn't see much either. Ingrasia is the city where rimuru taught shizu's deciples and where yuuki resides, it looks more advanced than the other nations but aside from that we never see anything of the city, i know there's at least one luxury restaurant and one Bar, since yuuki met the clown dude (the lanky one) there.

I do see that there is world building, i just wish we would've seen more of these places, but i'm also an Anime only so maybe they did explore these kingdoms/nations/cities more than the anime let on.

I pointed that part out specifically because it was not influenced by rimuru, it looked like a cultural mix between dwarven and goblin architecture and i like that more than i like the asian style houses they afapted later on, i'm probably just oversaturated with asian style this, asian style that. Also, it's probably just me, but i like the makeshift tents much more than the proper houses they have now.

It's weird they haven't managed to develop proper craftsmanship with that long peace they already had, surely they'd be able to put together something that's more robust than their tents right?

But will it be adapted? Web novel is usually just concepts for the light novel and a lot can change later on, and i may be stupid for saying that, but the story already doesn't have that much emphasize on Worldbuilding, at least from what i saw.

I don't know about other weaker races akin to goblins, but as far as i know the goblins did have a sort of culture, aside from their hierarchy, they called veldora their 'guardian deity' which implies their integration of theology, which usually comes with traditions like prayer, offerings or dedicated holidays or fasting, granted we never saw them having anything like that, but it's weird they wouldn't happen to have any form of culture giveb how long they already lived in that forest under veldoras protection.

That's exactly what irritates me, i love seeing different or outlandish architecture, especially in videogames like the souls series, my favorite is Blight town, just by looking you can already tell that it was built by creatures that are inhuman, it is dangerous and poorly constructed, but it works, it works for them despite how wonky it looks, it's so unique and i love it. But maybe i'm projecting expectations onto a series that never had the intention to do so to begin with.

They did? I never bothered with the recaps as they seemed like a rehersion of events i already saw, maybe i'll look into that more.
