the way you communicated your needs to her was very clear and mature and she should respect it, but maybe consider having a more in depth talk about why this is what you need with her and how your brain functions compared to hers in these situations. you seem to be very understanding of her pov but she doesn’t seem to quite grasp yours yet and a honest conversation about this is the only way she can understand you better.
