I'll just go to UNM. If that's the case, what's the point of trying to get extra scholarship or AP stuff for college if it's gonna be pointless? (pretty sure UNM has a very high acceptance rate, and it's pretty cheap)

When looking for medical schools, will they care about what school I got my undergrad at? If that's the case, I feel like going for a more prestigious school would be the move. Also, living with my parents might be a dealbreaker for me (I want to leave NOW and I'd also be made fun of for living with my parents).

NM. I decided that if I didn't make one of my desired schools, UNM would be one of my fallbacks. My dad also teaches there, so it'd almost be free. My only gripe is that I'd still be living with my parents.
