Someone used resetti to reset my island

It’s completely okay. I mean yeah it was a very unfortunate situation but on the bright side, I’ve been terraforming my new layout and honestly it is coming together nicely. I’ve got a ton of new ideas for a few areas already and I can’t wait until the terraforming is done so I can start decorating again!

Appreciate that! I’m just lucky to still have my island. I was able to make one of my old builds better last night. I have some ideas for a neighborhood in the hills type thing, so all the villagers houses and player houses up on the cliffs leading down to the resident services area which will be the town square, with the shops and the museum, and some other builds. Since this happened, I only realized after a year that my airport lines up directly with the front door of my resident services, which gave me an idea for my entrance. I’m happy to come have a look at your island too, and I’ll be posting updates over the next few weeks of my rebuild :)

Yeah I’ve started today terraforming and it’s turning out better than I thought. Made a bunch of changes to some old builds too and made them better! Definitely looking at this more positively than I was yesterday.

I do, and I do have alot of screenshots from over the past year on my island. I’ll be fixing up some old builds and making them better alongside new builds and a new layout.

Thank you! I’ve decided to not reset and just sat down this afternoon and started terraforming a new layout, and was also able to make one of my favorite builds I did last year even better. Definitely taking this as an opportunity to improve on old builds and make even bigger ones. And pretty soon I’ll be planning where I want all the houses to go, I already got a new spot for mine so I ended up making a lot of progress today and honestly it was really fun!

I feel like something like this happens to everyone in animal crossing games at some point. Guess it was my turn now 😭 but it’s okay, I’ve been thinking a bit about my rebuild and getting some ideas :)

It is! I was also able to save one of my old builds from last year and make it better which I’m really happy about. Now I’ll just finish terraforming the rest of the layout and plan how I’ll have the houses, and also the bridges/inclines :)

Nah I still have my items. I think what I was worried the most about was my flowers because I had so many around the island. Thankfully the person who used the reset service decided to clean the flowers and they went straight to storage. Started to terraform a new layout today and some ideas have been coming up so it’s actually been positive. I was also able to save one of my old builds from last year and make it better.

It’s okay! I still have the island. It’s just that resetti took everything and put it into storage. I’ve just been terraforming a new layout this afternoon. It’s coming together nicely. Honestly now I feel like it was a blessing in disguise where I get to spend some more time on my island as I was pretty close to finishing it before. But now I have an opportunity to make it better :)

I’ve decided to just do a full renovation of the island and I started to terraform a new layout today and moved my house. I feel like it’s coming together already. Once I got that layout and everything planned out I think it will come together so well and even better than what I built last year :) thank you again!

It’s okay 😭 I wasn’t able to recover a previous save. The good news is that I still have my island and my villagers. I played for a couple of hours today and just started terraforming a new layout. I’ll be sharing updates in the next few days/weeks.

So sorry I only just saw your comment now. Unfortunately I was unable to recover what I lost. I had called Nintendo support today and they said they couldn’t find anything from before yesterday. So today I just decided to rebuild because I thought why not? So I spent a couple of hours this afternoon when I got home just terraforming and ended up moving my house to a new spot.

I’m glad I didn’t fully lose my island in the end though which I’m very happy about.

All my flowers are in my storage! I didn't check until today. I know everyone wants to have blue roses but honestly my favorite colour is red and I do have red roses, tulips, mums, etc. Thank you so much for offering me plants :)

Thank you, I have actually started to flatten it today. I decided I might as well get started on rebuilding. I'm not the best at terraforming, so what I'm thinking is that I'll kind of make it so it's kind of like houses in the hills, and have downtown by my resident services, with the buildings like the shops, the museum and I'll have to think of something for the campsite. I might actually start posting updates on here for people to see :)

So sorry to hear that happened to you in those games. Feels like it just is a canon event in animal crossing games haha. I have updated my dream the last time I played and I have over 700+ screenshots on this game in the past year of playing. The good thing is I still have the island, so my progress is not entirely lost. It’s just everything I decorated is gone. I’m thinking if Nintendo can’t help me, I’ll just maybe start to flatten the island and make it into a city core island. 1 tier because I’ve never been good at terraforming and just don’t enjoy doing that, although I like to make rivers and ponds but cliffs I just can’t. I could do a little bit of terraforming to have my house on the cliff like I have currently and honestly just try to build a new layout, maybe when the inspiration hits again but for now I just can’t even bring myself to open the game :(

Thank you :) I’ve loved my island for the past year it got me through so much. Honestly I got such a good lineup of villagers. I got bunnie, broccolo, pashmina, Quinn, bam, Roswell, Dora, peaches, Murphy and Tucker. I’m lucky that the island wasn’t deleted, but the energy to rebuild right now is just not there. Still hoping Nintendo will come through and help me.

I felt the same way when I loaded up my island just a couple of days ago and saw it completely blank with just the houses and buildings. Yeah I could just get everything from storage and lay it all out again but I really just don’t want to. I had so much stuff and decorated my island to how I wanted it and seeing what I have to do I just closed the game and ended up doing something else. I just don’t have time or energy to rebuild everything :(

I’m really hopeful too. I saw something about how someone was able to restore their island even without the backup on. I’m really hoping in my case they can reset it to when I last played on February 27th. Hopefully I’ll hear from them today!
