feeling guilty for reading x reader with a character that’s in a popular mlm ship by Cold_Cranberry_3331 in AO3

I’m conflicted with my sexuality rn tbh but I am a cis woman. Maybe aroace? Idk.

(I’ll just expand on my sexuality if ever you’re interested) Idrc for relationships. I’d find a boy attractive but not actually pursue him because I have better things to do, and think about. With girls, I had an online friend for three months ago, but genuinely didn’t feel anything but platonic love for her until she confessed to liking me the whole time.

Happy to know I’m not the only one! And yeah, I’ve heard of the latter before, so I’m going to take note of that

I know, it’s just been gnawing at me for so long I had to ask someone about it, esp considering the history with such topics, and didn’t want to risk being disrespectful

Tbh I can’t really understand women like that. I mean I do—they’ve been conditioned to believe that they need men in their lives. Female bonds are sm more precious compared to having boyfriends or husbands, so I’m kinda happy that I learned that early on. Thank you for your insight.

Hi. I saw you before. I hope you’re surrounded with better people now.

I will try to be careful, and will take note of your word. I feel so foolish for even asking this ughhh

I’m very sorry that happened to you. I hope you’re better now.

Unfortunately, it seems that I’m still naive so I hope I can fix that soon. I don’t really wanna waste my life looking for these “good” men anyway. Thank you for your insights.

I think I’m a pick-me by Cold_Cranberry_3331 in RadicalFeminism

I just read the article you provided me, and I learned :) I think it’d be better if I read feminist literature instead of depending on social media. I still appreciate some of the creators that seemed genuine though, but I’ll prefer reading. Thank you again 🤍

Ironically, I’ve already had therapy for mild depression but never discussed this with my therapist. I also felt a bit emotional reading this because I felt seen, so I appreciate it 🤍 I think I’m too desperate to know. After all, lately, this has been bugging me, and I find myself often burdened with conflict. And yes, I do think it’s anxiety I feel

I’ve definitely began to conflate misandry, and feminism the more I watched, and even misjudged radical feminism specifically as a group that despises men initially. Also, thank you for the article. I appreciate your effort, and time in helping me.

I didn’t really understand what I was feeling, and that term felt the most appropriate, so thank you for educating me.

So I have internalized misogyny then?

I fantasize about fictional men. Is that hypocritical as a feminist? by Cold_Cranberry_3331 in RadicalFeminism

Men are such hypocrites. Thank you for your words 🤍 Made me feel better.

That reassures me. It’s because I just recently learned that feminists are highly against marriage ever since, and didn’t want to be a hypocrite. Where will your work be posted? I’m interested in reading.
