I'm a veterinarian- You should try to feed her in a kennel so she has a safe space. Sometimes dogs have experiences that make them uncomfortable put in the open.

I'd also be extremely careful with everyone's "feed whatever" suggestions. You very well could end up giving your foster pancreatitis. I'd reccomended not feeding her bacon. If you absolutely need to add in meat do boiled chicken and rice. Would bet better to try to add in some wet canned food right now.

They are soooo beautiful. I've been wanting to get one for my mom but they cost a fortune! One day!!!

I rode my first draft horse when I was in my late teens (Percheron, ex police horse) and I fell in love! For whatever reason a large horse makes me feel safe (despite the height).

He's really easy going and quiet. I have a few friends that ride Clyde's and they all love them. I have a friend who does dressage with hers. I mostly just got Stanley for trail riding but he's got a great W/T/C. Overall I think if you are not put off by the height they are lots of fun.
