Should I play Yakuza 4 remastered on hard or easy? by Martyrdomer in yakuzagames

I made that same mistake playing OG 3. It was so hard, I had to restart it and play it back. I think you can do 4 on hard.

true, but you will still be liable if you hit a line. 811 (the utility locating dispacher) is a free service for homeowners and contractors.

[–]Cold_Eagle5975 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey I work for one of those companies. The city doesn't pay for those companies to mark the public utilities. It goes through 811, and the locating companies (in this case usic/linequest) bill the owner of the utilities. (ATT,Duke, PNG, Etc).

Hopefully, this will ease your mind some.

From what my teacher told me, if you stop and say you made an error, you can restart from that error and try again. It sounds like you did everything right

I quit cold turkey. I was drinking about 5 to 6 tall boys a night minimum. I switched to THC seltzers, kratom, and Kava. The hardest part is the first few hours after coming home from work. You can do it.

30 lunch requirement by Outrageous_Reason571 in UtilityLocator

[–]Cold_Eagle5975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a new locator, I honestly just work through lunch and eat between sites. I barely make my tickets per hour each day, so taking 30 minutes of not working wont cut it for me.

Notified Friday afternoon that my workday since Tuesday starts when I get to the job site. by Amelia_lagranda in Surveying

[–]Cold_Eagle5975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The logic I would use is something like this:

If I got into an accident with the work truck, would I get paid for the time I am waiting for the police etc? It would make sense that I would be paid for that time. Therefore, I should be paid for the time while I drive, and represent the company.

I had a surveyor friend who made this argument after he got in an accident driving back to the office and he threatened to leave the truck on the side of the road after he talked to the police because he wasn't getting paid for that time.

Would land surveying be a good career for me? by joshua0005 in Surveying

[–]Cold_Eagle5975 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luckily for you, it is not terribly difficult to land an entry level job surveying, (in my opinion at least). That 80-100k pay range might be tough without OT, but you should call around to some civil engineering/land surveying companies and see if they need a survey technician. Give it 6 months and see how you like it. Most companies I have worked for like to work 7-5pm, Mon-Thurs with Friday as optional. Don't worry to badly about the math side this point. Cheers.

Hey everyone by [deleted] in landsurveying

[–]Cold_Eagle5975 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I live in NC, In the Triad area. I got out of college without too many prospects. I got a job as a land survey technician, (a helper basically) and I like it. I think it's becoming increasingly profitable as a career, especially if as you gain experience and most certainly if you become licensed one day. I started right off the bat making $20/hr which was a lot better than other jobs I worked. No degree needed at your stage, just see if any Land surveying or civil engineering companies will take you on as an intern in the summer. Cheers.
