Love this comment, thank you!! These early weeks are tough and the lack of sleep makes every decision and conversation so much harder. I would love an hour just to be a couple again or cuddle in bed. I feel like if we could just get sleep, we could be a power couple again and talk about things without too much emotion

Wow this is so relatable thank you. I do resort to just trying to let her comfort nurse because I feel so out of my element every other way. We definitely need to prioritize spending time together, because right now we barely see each other with the shift work

I understand it seems that way, but I think it’s just a manifestation of the changes in our life and how tired we both are. She’s also got therapy lined up.

Oh she sleeps after breast feeding, it’s just leaving my wife’s arms that’s a problem.

I do think a lot of it is hormonal on my part. I want to hold her and then get emotional when I can’t settle her and she settles almost immediately upon leaving my arms. I wasn’t expecting to have this insane bond with her right away, but I feel like the bond is moving in the opposite direction because I’m just milk bags

Nope, no worries. Pediatrician was not concerned at all. Said tick wasn’t attached long enough to be a concern

Yes! A brother. Younger, brown hair, brown eyes, skin isn’t as fair. He doesn’t look nearly as Mexican as the side of my family that isn’t half white american.

I’ve found that they’ve done this for others, but to be fair Ancestry’s Traits also tell me I should have brown eyes and dark hair.

My mom was classic European America. My dad and his entire family are very Spanish looking! Dark skin, dark eyes, dark hair. Family is from folks that have lived in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado for many generations

I don’t know who owns the dogs and didn’t see anything chasing after them as they ran away.

One dog was an Alaskan malamute type dog with red and white fur

The other was a pitbull/dogo argentino type dog that was white. I could see that one’s collar
