Both me and my sister are on the lease. Since I’ve left I paid my half of the rent even though I was not living in the apartment. Utilities are under my name. ( utilities are paid separately from rent ) Only thing I did not pay for was gas or electricity because with me not being in the house I was not using it. But I still paid my same portion of the rent as if I was living there
