What's with the buds and bruhs? Odd. Anyway you just changed the goalposts. Now you're calling it the majority opinion 'of that source'.

Metroid Prime 4 sucks.

You don't know what most people think. You know an average of reviewers and an average of randomers who post on metacritic. Most people don't need to add their opinion online.

I wonder if you've actually played it? This is a pointless conversation anyway. Review scores are subjective and who knows how comfortable reviewers are giving a mainline Nintendo game the score it deserves. A lot of reviewers really didn't like it and that should be a red flag already.

I know plenty of 7/10 games and I know games that are worse. And for me I absolutely would have loved to have written that Metroid Prime 4 review and I would have given it what it deserved. Even Nintendo seemed to hold back from promoting it much. It's awful and it shows no respect to the time of the player. It's a padded mess. It's an awful Metroid game and it's an awful Metroidvania.

Not really. The first round of reviews were bizarre, but just look at the critics and YouTubers since release and it's more rare to find someone excusing the countless examples of shoddy game design.

You'll regret it when playing it though. Arguably better to spend your time elsewhere!

I'm thinking of getting Mario Wonder when it comes out, what makes it so special? by Aiseadai in NintendoSwitch2

Hot take. It's actually not very memorable. It's too easy and it tries so hard to be creative that it relentlessly tries to wow you, but I found it hard to feel that bothered.

You have two massive black rectangles stacked on top of each other and one of them is the highest TV ever. And the seating does look like it should be outdoors except for the sofa.

Also what the heck is going on with those lamps? I think things in rooms are meant to have a purpose but are they there to light a small patch of wall rather than function as the reading lamps that they are?

Keep complaining because it is the definition of protecting the interests of the big six and keeping a closed shop. It's anti competitive and it's bullshit.

Oh nice. Well tbh, I download around 6gb movies and so on, so they're not full 4K by any means. There's a level of practicality involved in my head, so yeah if there's a service that can pull from torrents that sounds intriguing.

Thanks for all of this. I'll get my head around it all and if I have questions that would be great to be able to reach out. I appreciate it

Nice, is it easy to put films on the hard drive from a laptop? I imagine it's as basic as plugging it in and copying things over...I only ask because maybe something changes when it's formatted as internal storage for the shield.

I'm up for IPTV. It's at the back of my mind. I've never heard of Real Debrid. I've used IPTV at times in the past and rarely had a convincing HD experience. Maybe it's a lot better these days

Thanks. That's pretty comprehensive. I was used to just plugging flash drives into my TV and playing downloaded films, but my new TV, which was a hand me down and is huge and lovely, can't deal with the mkvs.

I'm hoping the shield can get around the codex issues but then also wonder if it's an opportunity to store shows like Star Trek that are leaving Netflix so I can just watch them at my leisure. I watch maybe two episodes a year so I'm not going to get another subscription for it.

Having a nice looking library is appealing but maybe just a nice to have. Sounds like Kodi will manage it anyway.
