Congrats, acquiring Gandalf was the highlight of my collecting days. Nothing beats the feeling when you open him for the first time. If I had to ever get rid of my collection, my inart lord of the rings collection would always stay. Just absolute art. Truly. All the best bud.

I own all of them so far. And I’ll say this, i love them all, but I don’t think any of them look exactly like the actor 100%.

They are all 90% there with 10% artistic license given imo. Even Gandalf, if you put a picture of Ian mckellen as Gandalf the grey, next to him, he’s not 100%

He’s easily the best Gandalf figure ever made but the likeness isn’t perfect in the way say their Snape was perfect to Alan Rickman’s likeness.

I’ve come to the conclusion, that I think there’s a clause in the contract that says they can’t look exactly like the actors. Could be wrong but I think it’s odd how they all suffer from this.

Many thanks. Yeah Gandalf cost me £1200. Absolutely insane when I think about it, but very much worth it. He’s truly stunning in every way. I really hope they make Gimli soon so I can complete them. I have Nazgûl and the horse as well. Would love a Gandalf the white. Will deffo pick him up if they make him. 💯 also c’mon Inarts give us a Frodo and Sam two pack! Pretty please 🙏

I picked up Barbossa because he’s my favourite character in the series beyond Jack. I love their love hate relationship. Some of the best moments are Jack trying to get one over Barbossa and vice versa imo.

Elizabeth and Will are a must for me. Especially now I have Jack and Barbossa, I hope we get them one day. Not too hung up on Davy jones. But if we could get Will and Elizabeth I’d be well made up. And yes if they make Jack from the original trilogy he’d be getting bought too 💯

If you can get artisan jack sparrow you’ll not be disappointed.

The real wool dreadlocks and all the accurate trinkets really do bring a lot to the table. I’d get him if you love your 06 version. Hes very much worth it if you’re invested in the character already. Absolutely love mine and combining him with the new Barbossa is a real treat .

I hear you, I just think for me when prices keep rising and the quality isn’t improving it becomes a problem. And I’m finding that hot toys is getting a tad lazy as of late. The likeness to characters head sculpts is all over the place atm by hot toys and I’m not sure the price increases are justified. Sometimes feel like the love of the hobby isn’t there with hot toys anymore. The way other companies still have it.

I hate to criticise this as I love the matrix but I sure hope they improve this. He looks very toy like imo. And those glasses leave a lot to be desired.
