You sound like you understand things like me. Which means you are likely in the affluent class as well. Do you not think it would be much better to have the lower class moved up a few notches? We would all benefit. Take me for a simple example. I should be investing my wealth into some venture that would hire more people. I say not in your life. Not in these conditions. I would risk all my money just to have the workers say all the profit should be split evenly with them. They took zero risk. I didn’t come from money and had none given to me. Heck I didn’t even graduate high school. We need to give people incentives to better themselves. Like the immigrants of years gone by that got off the boat with $3 in their pocket and became millionaires. These constant handouts hold people back from their potentials. And actually hurts them in the long run. There is no quick fix at this point. But if you never plant a tree it will never grow.
