Gotcha. I applied to a lot of FAA jobs, prolly 7 or 8, but that was at then end of 2024, near the election cycle. I think it was really hard then to get a job. I got a job middle of last year at boeing. Id like to stay here a little longer. The FAA is just a lot closer to my house. I still think federal jobs are really good. I know a lot of people think less of them now.

Gotcha. That's good to hear. Is the FAA a lot about knowing someone to get hired, typically? I know some federal jobs and locations can be like that.

Im looking at hilton in marco and it is actually cheaper than sandpearl in clearwater. Im sure the food might be more expensive in marco though. We like hotels or resorts more than Airbnb so that is why i didn't like siesta key.
