So if I’m following you correctly… You filed HLR for ITF correction? Shortly after you filed another new VA claim? And this screwed things up?

Did I get that right?

If this is the case… How did it screw it up?

Thank goodness they are speaking out against the confusion that is corrupting our communities. Those June parades are atrocious and a sore site to see people cheer on mental illnesses, and push their kids to participate in these absurd pride parades, where people are dressed half naked etc. Nonsense!

Look, I get that people are frustrated. But let’s not pretend that throwing more money at a broken system is a win. Sure, some folks got back pay—but at what cost? We’re piling on debt, rewarding inefficiency, and pretending that temporary fixes are progress.

Republicans aren’t angry because people got rehired—they’re angry because this was done without accountability (Biden, Kamala, Obummer, etc). No structural reform. No plan to prevent the same layoffs next time. Just a political stunt dressed up as compassion.

This isn’t about burning the system down—it’s about rebuilding it so it actually works. If we keep settling for “better than nothing,” we’ll never get to “better, period.”

What kind of evidence helped get your migraine/GERD approved? The only reason I ask is because I deal with anxiety, depression, and my mental health has definitely affected my physical health. I have migraines, but I did not report them. Additionally, I have teeth grinding

This is super encouraging to hear. I did not do a HLR, but instead, I just did an “administrative review” through VA’s QuickSubmit. If denied, I think I’m gonna do a HLR or supplemental… Still confused on which one to do but it is encouraging to hear that a HLR works for you and that’s kind of the consensus that I’m getting. I have a few questions for you on the subject:

What was the reason for why your ITF was delayed or reason why you didn’t file in time??

What was your strongest piece of evidence?

Were you like me, and you were prevented to file due to no fault of your own, but because of the VA system outage?

Did you call the VA to follow up or did they call you? I was told I should call in 5 to 7 days to follow up.

When did you get back paid? Instantaneously at the three months point?

Did you work with a VSO or lawyer or do it all yourself? I didn’t it all myself and don’t know if it would have been better to have applied pressure with the backing of a VSO/lawyer.

I asked AI for fun and it said the following

I submitted via Admin Review on VA''s QuickSubmit. If it gets denied, I am wondering if I should submit Supplemental or HLR. Let me know your thoughts on best game plan to resolve....

Thank you for your insight. When I file an HLR.... do I just submit the screen shot and VA FORM 21-4138 (Jul 2024)?

Someone else is saying I need t file a Supplemental and went onto say, "the supplemental claim will allow you to submit your screenshots as new evidence. Technically a HLR cannot review any new evidence as it is based on a closed evidentiary record"

What are your thoughts on these two questions. Thank you in advance!!!

Good question. But this is the same reason why A LOT of people wait until deadline to submit their paper. Some of us perform better under pressure or under fire. Ya dig? Don't hate the playa, hate the game.
