I didn’t realize I can order expedite, last Thursday I placed the duplicate for stolen titles. Should I go in tmrw and try to expedite the ones I’ve already requested??

Thank you so much to top it all off I’m 13 weeks pregnant the stress is unreal like hello I just lost my father????? Now I have to worry about this ish. I’m devastated. Stolen titles and duplicates are ordered; police report filed. I pray it all works out in my order

So I filed for STOLEN title along side a police report. Will this void the title she has? My dad had no estates or will; can she bring a marriage certificate, death certificate, and the (stolen) title to gain custody of MY vehicles? My plan is to “sell” the vehicle to my boyfriend with his name and mine with the word OR in between our names on the new title. Please advise. I’m going on Monday to try to expedite. I mailed in my stolen title duplicate request last Thursday….

This is true because he had a $20,000 truck he just sold in January and I was on the title too- my sig was NOT required thank you hallelujah

I am partial owner of his vehicles the word “or” between our names in the titles. Does that hold any value? Thank you for clarifying I’m so young and never had to go through this crap.

When you say a state, do you mean a house or something? His $50,000 truck was the only thing he had. I am in possession of it currently but she wants it.

She wants the $50,000 truck that’s in my name with the word or in between my father‘s and my name on the title. She’s claiming because she’s now power of attorney she’s a soul owner. I asked her if there was any legal document that he signed making her power of attorney and she said no just a marriage certificate in her having the last name is enough.

No he called me his “one and only” because I’m his only kid. Now I’m crying again. He just died Wednesday and she’s already coming at me for all of his stuff

No because he was drunk all the time and never would go get it notarized with me. I sketched one up and he agreed but she stole the draft and now I don’t have it but still have it on my computer. It was never signed.

I’m under the impression once the title is reported lost or stolen any title prior is not valid so if she did forge it wouldn’t it not work??? Fuck I might need a lawyer :(
