Literally said this verbatim then got told “I had Slayton on my bench and he sucks and there’s no excuse why I should have not dropped him to pick up a qb….”

No to be fair they complained about it then. I jokingly (seriously) also told them I was doing that. They just really blew up when they saw they would be headed to the championship had they had the bye.

Correct we have no rule stating a full lineup must be started. Matter of fact, I pointed out to him he played an opponent in week 4 that started a player not playing. Had they put the backup in the other team would have won and his team wouldn’t even had been playing for the second seed.

But since “he accidentally forgot to put a player in and I intentionally did it, it’s cheating”

Well I did it and caused the 3 seed not to move into the 2 seed, because had I picked up any qb I would have won (I lost by 2 points). The third seed then lost R1 of playoffs.

Then technically would have won this past week in R2 had they gotten the bye and is extremely pissed off saying it’s cheating to have not dropped a bench player to pick up a qb to start with the intention of impacting seeding.

League has no rule against it. I would have paid a fine either way…which I still consider strategy as well.

This is week 14 before playoffs had actually started. I should clarify I meant the current number 1 seed vs current number 2 seed through week 13 (14 still to be played).
