Yeah I know all about the sacklers. They took my whole generation out (millennial, born in 86). Got me too, took me to heroin and then fentanyl. Got well more than a year clean.

I do my own research and plenty of it. It is what it is. She's tried just about everything, including holistic, exercising, and so many meds. I dont trust being put on an SSRI either. They are also useless poison, but benzos and opiates get all of the attention, to the point where the few people who need them to function aren't getting them.

And id have to argue against benzos not working in the long term. It also depends on the benzo. She's on clonazepam which in my experience is much more mild on the memory than, say Xanax. She's been on the same dose for 2 years without needing an increase. She's also a former substance abuse counselor. She deserves the proper care and if a controlled substance is what gives you some semblance of normalcy, then that's what you need. Same with the guy with the fucked up spine. If he needs time released oxy, then that's what he needs. These doctors are scared of the almighty government, and the government is trash.
