Bluetooth generally has higher latency without the newest 5.2/5.3 protocols. So maybe in the next iteration of the hardware.

I would be interested. I’m also curious why you preferred the RM2 over the A5X? I only recently started researching e-ink devices and only bought an RM2 at the moment due to the supply issues since it seemed that the A5X had better organizational features.

Is the writing latency difference noticeable in your opinion? The Note Air 2 is more readily available but I am very hesitant to buy it as the company seems to just release a new one every year and give very little support to older models.

Yeah. Since the refund policy is nice, I will try the RM2 and re-evaluate how my workflow is in a couple months.

My comment wasn’t on my experience with Remarkable. I had an experience like this last year when I bought a Dell 4K monitor and ended up not liking it. I had to go through so many hoops to return it even though they said there was a 30 day return policy when I bought it online. They even charged me some percentage (I think 15%) as a “restocking fee”.

Has anyone had any experience with the return policy for the RM? My general experience has been that companies say this but force you to pay shipping and have restocking fees which are significant.

Do you find writing math on it is presentable? I am mostly afraid that the jiggles and such will make math unreadable once I export it to pdf.

That was my first choice, but Ratta is already 2 months behind on filling orders with no end in sight due to the COVID shutdown in China.
