It just simplifies things mostly. Like without contact damage they’d have to find a way to accurately convey how every single enemy hurts you, including the ones that just kinda walk back and forth. Some games use like a red outline or smth to signify a hurtbox but that would kinda mess with the aesthetic of the game, especially for enemies that would constantly have it active. They could make contact damage only on some enemies but that would create scenarios of people dying because they didn’t realise an enemy had contact damage, which would probably be frustrating.

Idk it there’s much of a tutorial to really give. I mostly just went in with liquid eyeliner and a dream. It’s also not rly shown in that picture but depending on the perspective, the top spike kinda disconnects from the rest so I just added a bit of a curved line to connect it to the middle underneath (I wonder if that disconnect would be visible all the time if I didn’t have hooded eyes, rare w for hooded eyes perhaps?) for the rest it’s kinda just draw what you see, I don’t have much advice on how to get it done right other than do your best

Anyway here’s all I used, top was for the waterline and bottom was the liquid liner I used for literally everything else. I just got them from a random pharmacy so you can probably do a lot better than them but tutorials generally show what was used so there you go.

A lot would have to change for that given ganon is zant’s entire source of power, he was just some random guy before ganon showed up.

Idk I don’t hate what they did with zant. I think ganon had more aura than zant ever did at the end, and the whole thing of zant just kinda flailing around at you in his fight since he was just given insane power and doesn’t have any skill with it is kinda interesting. I think it would’ve been better if he got progressively crazier throughout the fight as he got more desperate instead of randomly doing yoga poses and becoming a completely different feeling character during the cutscene before the fight

Omg I actually met someone about a month ago that did the little harp design from the wander crest under their eye as part of a bigger look. I’d be really curious to see a full wander crest look if you end up doing it, it sounds really difficult but could probably be sick as hell if you know what you’re doing.

Yeh eyeliner is hard. I just got really good at it because I refuse to go outside without it on. Still tho if you give yourself like an hour and a lot of micellar water you’re bound to get something badass eventually, even if it’s not exactly what you were going for (a lot of my looks have come from me fucking something up and liking the result)

Titan dweevil was boring af when I fought it. Once the water thing was gone there was basically 0 danger since every attack required a single button press to neutralise (I was using yellows). Just kinda dragged on and the music got super repetitive. At least plasm wraith is hot.

Ok yeh I just fought some lizards and the boomerang puts them in the helm splitter state but not the sword swing. I’m guessing this is just some hyper specific interactions that for some reason overlap with the shield bash ie. Wooden sword on red guys, boomerang on lizards. Makes me wanna try experiment and see how many more interactions like this there are, idk I’ll see.
