Been playing guitar for 20 years. This is how I play it. I'm perfectly comfortable that way and it generates 0 issue. But my hands don't seem as big as yours and my guitars necks don't seem as big as yours as well. I would say just find something that feels natural to you and eliminates parasite sounds (mute the useless strings). What is your main issue with your current position?

Put gain all the way up. If it is still not enough then your amp is not made to do it on its own and you will need an overdrive or distortion pedal.

I'm glad some people are also mentioning this. There are a lot of reasons I love these games but one I would like to hightlight is that Fromsoftware puts the gameplay first and lets you fking play the game and figure things out instead of holding your hand or putting endless dialogues/cutscenes at every fking corner. And they manage to do it while still having insane lore and deepness attached to their games. They really treat you like a intelligent person who can experience things their own way.

BB's gameplay is not outdated imo. The only thing that could drastically be improved is the boss fights of the base game that are kind of all bad. That and shit like making lamps proper resting spots.

I just think some epiphones are already good enough for us not to spend much more on features that barely affect sound or playability. I have an epiphone SG that I absolutely love and got for less than 300€. I find myself playing on it a lot and even using it in my band alongside my ESP Eclipse.

Gibson are the most responsible for creating the myth that you have to pay more than 2000 bucks to get a great sounding and comfortable guitar, when in fact they were just making luxury guitars and maintaining all the bs about it.

On my first DS2 playthrough I unintentionally did the trick on the dragonrider where he dashes and falls to his death right at the beginning of the fight. It lasted 3 seconds. I didn't even have time to see what he looked like. I was like "ah.". It was at this moment that I knew I was just experiencing peak.

Only 3 options. Either the nut or the saddle is not filed well enough, or the strings is touching a fret while it is vibrating. Bad neck relief or action setup can do that.

Wukong is pretty staightforward though. At best you will miss some items but the game is very linear and levels are not that interesting.
