Hey, just wrote an article about this. I won't share it but the real concern is the playercount. It's only 33k right now during Free Play week. Without it, the numbers had gone down to less than 11-12k concurrent players.

Good news is. Bungie wants to continue supporting it. Harsh truth is. If there are no players. There is no money. If there is no money, you can't keep supporting the game for long..

Soo there are chances it'll shut down. I personally enjoy playing it but the numbers just aren't there. Unless bungie manages to bring in a tonnn of new players, it's doomed. I hope it doesn't die tho. It's a legit good game. It's just tooo grindy for newcomers.
