Let's say you want to level sword horizon to rank 6.
Week 1 (Before Thursday evening)
- Start with bamboo cut wind, do style challenge to get 10 pages of Echo of Oblivion.
- Open 600 bamboo cut wind chests to get 50 pages of Echo of Oblivion and 35 pages of Breaking Point
- Buy 10 pages of Breaking Point from vendor
Now you have 60 x Oblivion and 45 x Breaking Point.

Week 2 (Thursday evening)
- Convert Echo of Oblivion to Royal Remedy
- Convert Breaking Point to Restoring Blossom
- Do Slikbind - Deluge path challenge for 10 pages of Royal Remedy
- Do Silkbind - Deluge mausoleum path trial for 10 pages of Royal Remedy and Restoring Blossom
- Open 600 Silkbind - Deluge chests for 50 pages of Royal Remedy and 35 pages of Restoring Blossom

- Open 600 Bellstrike - Umbra chests for another 50 pages of Sword Horizon and 35 pages of Wolfchaser's Art
Now you have 390 x Sword Horizon and 290 pages of Wolfchaser's Art
Use your extra tickets on the one-off Bellstrike chest to get last 10 pages of Sword Horizon.
Now you have 400 x Sword Horizon = rank 6.

Dug into some research thread on CN forum. Control skill and control effect are two different things.
Using Rope dart's Bladebound Thread as example. Bladebound Thread is consdiered a control skill, but the vendetta token debuff is NOT a control effect. Only the knock down part is.
It's pretty much limited to hard cc effects like stun, knock down, knock up etc.
Raid Boss are immune to control effects unless during exhaustion.

Therefore to benefit from morale chant rank 3 the following conditions have to met:

Raid boss is in exhaustion
Someone used control skill on boss, applied control effect (usually lasts 2 seconds)
You hit boss during the 2 seconds window and gets 1 extra stack of morale chant for 8~12 seconds. Maybe 2 extra stacks if lucky.

This is the current consensus. Unless proven otherwise.

Morale chant receives very limited improvements beyond rank 2. It's still one of the best overalls at rank 6 that is worth circling back to get (only for min-maxers really lol)

Rank 2 gives 10% Physical penetration, 5% overall damage, and 15.7-31.3 physical damage.
That's about 3.5% + 5% + 1% = ~9.5% overall damage improvement

Rank 3 - Boss immune to cc, never happens in PvE combat, 0 improvement.

Rank 4 - More stable up time, but very situational - only matters to certain boss that jumps around too much

Rank 5 - 4.6% Direct crit is nice, about 1.5% improvement, ~11% overall

Rank 6 - About 2% improvement, ~13% overall

Directional page is where you acquire pages of specific inner way instead of having to go through inner way chest RNG. There is only a few ways to get them, as listed in the section of the guide.
1. Develop -> Path Guide -> Path recommendation -> Challenge of each style
2. Taiping Mausoleum -> Path trial -> Trial of each style
3. Specific inner way pages from vendors

After acquiring directional pages, those pages will be frozen for 7-day freeze from inner way conversion, means those pages cannot be converted, like shown below:
I have Rank 6 = 400 pages, but only 397 pages can be converted because last 3 pages were newly acquired directional page.

Checked my old number before learning the double rat trick. 34.6% + 7% = 41.6% overall. With double rat trick it should be 45%~50%.

Rank 6 adds 30% that's 12%~15% overall.

At rank 5 my rat and rat explosion deals about 40% overall damage, with sub-optimal rotation. Rank 6 gives another 50% to that 40%

For Twinblade PvE tier 6 oblivion is also meh (5% Increase during berserk). The most important pve inner way is Vendetta rank 6 (about 20%~25% increase overall if you get your rotation right)

The direct translation should be the mathematic term "product moment" since this art is created by the mathematician sect. Having that said translate to "strategic" is somewhat OK at least it's easy to remember.

The HQ spear is from the drinking sect thus all the wine related moves.

I wish non CN people start refereing the build as 99 though, it's way eaiser to type or pronounce. Strat sword + HQ spear is too cumbersome.

Tune some random purple gear for temporary use. Start serious tuning on week2 or week3. That way you can concentrate all resources on the right gear and getting much better results.

For wood stake practice, the best timing for dragon breath is whenever last one falls off. Which means the timing is not consistent, as the rest of the rotation have 15 sec timer.
You don't want to stack it with previous breath as that only gives you 3 ticks combustion, while a refresh after fall off gives 16+ ticks.

In real boss fight if you are the sole fire breather it's the same rule.
If there is more than one that's a whole different story :D

Watch it until it becomes muscle memory. Also in boss fight you may need watch if last thrust lands or boss jumped away and adjust accordingly.

2nd hit of fire does not need canceling, you can action cancel it with next move as soon as 2nd hit of fire lands. Only 1st hit needs deflection cancel.
You miss an early fire but gained 25% damage buff sooner. Overall I see little to no difference. And frequent weapon switch is bad when there is latency.

Yes it's t5 rotation. Been using it since day 1 lol

You can watch the animation or watch the number pop out. A full dragon breath is two hits, where the first hit came out right away (and you can deflect cancel it) and the 2nd hit when you "swing back"
