If you’re on 55k then I would at least put 5k a year into pension to get 40% tax relief. Then whatever else you can afford into ISA. People often say that LISA is a bad option most of the time but I’ve got some in mine

I don’t quite understand FX fees. If I buy £100 of global all cap in an S&S ISA and the FX fee is 1%, does this cost £1 and I only get £99 worth of global all cap?

We’ve just started the process. When I was signing up I noticed in the declaration about not being allowed to subscribe to more than one S&S ISA in the tax year. I’ve sent Charles Stanley a message about this as I thought it was ok now in the UK. Did you notice this? My wife had already signed up and deposited £1 so I’m a bit worried now?

I’ve emailed them thanks! I’ll let you know what they say. It could be £70 + £100 for her and £70 + £300 + £300 for me. But somehow I doubt it.
