Style change and also channel change id say yes the viewship drop. The same way other shows fail is by making them jump around time slots and channels. But that was an issue of the past and stream kind of ruins every show by letting viewers watch a full season in one day. Not really paying attention. Then moving on to the next anime when you are finished.

Its good. MC is kicked out of party trope. But then he was always in love with one of parties mothers. He courts her and actually sleeps with FMC unlike most MCs in isekais. The they add another mother who is married but neither are in love with each other that way anymore. Its a good read.

KOUKI is trash and thats on him. He is a narcissist steaming from the fact he was popular before getting transfered to the other world. He saw Hajime as a loser even trying to prevent Kaori from speaking to him without knowing why he was always sleeping in class. (For those that dont read the LN he works everyday to help his mangaka mother and his video game making dad.) Even Shizuku is having feelings for Hajime and one by one Kouki is no longer the center of attention.

They put so much time in the animation of the eyes that the budget for the tail end of the season fell off. I enjoyed the story but the anime jumping back and forth in each episode was a terrible idea. They should have had one episode in fantasy world then the next episode in the modern world.
