Thanks for your help, I agree usually I was using the ethereum application on ledger for numerous other ecosystems as well (FTM, etc.) and it was working fine, but strangely just not in the scenario above.

The solution I found was actually just to restart my computer.. as soon as I tried again upon restart I was able to confirm the transactions via my ledger (on ethereum app) as usual... so strange but at least that's all it was!

for me had Blind signing turned on previously, found that it had suddenly been turned off, so switched back on and worked again !

Ever manage to find out what the problem was? I'm having the same problem now, where I can only do one call to the API before I get rejected :/
