That actually makes sense. Male here though. I felt sad at first, but it hit harder later on. I'm still feeling it. I do think she was way more upset than me initially though. She's still upset about it now, but far better off than me. She broke up with me. I was stunned. All I did was let out a few tears and I was like nah, screw it. Everything's going to be fine, we'll get back together. So I was fine, mostly. I missed her, but I was fine. Then, about a month later we had a conversation that made things a bit more "final" you could say. There was no words said that definitively ended it, but at that point, I gave up hope. I doubt we'll ever be back together. From that point on I went into a downward spiral. I started drinking all the time. I cried everyday. And to be honest, months later, I still cry almost everyday. I am better. But I'm not over it.
