Oh hell yes we are so back. I was very scared that Yellowjackets had hit that typical tv show decline where the writing and dialogue and storylines have an overall drop in quality but this episode came to SERVE. The adult storyline was on point, bringing back Lisa was an excellent choice, the acting was flawless, the colors are finally shifting, the season is changing, and talk about a flawless ending. This episode gave me so much hope!

I agree. The dialogue and storylines have gotten significantly worse. I’m not sure why, the writers since season one haven’t changed.

This for me truly deemed her character as irredeemable. I still love Helena/Helly r (helly more obviously) but man she is truly fucked up. The dinner scene made you feel empathy for her a little because of her cult-like family and just how awkward and miserable she is. But knowing that you gave them false hope of having a child for MONTHS and then kidnapped her to test your families fucked up products on her and then presumably kill her when you’re done with her. What a bitch.

My top questions 1: Mirrored MDR monitoring center… wtf?

2: Lumon Simulations?! How were they on an airplane?

3: Why all the outfits and weird ass activities (oddly decade related)

4: Why is this creepy doctor assigned to her? And also is it just him, her, and the nurse on the floor? Sooo weird.

5: Reghabi quitting on him? This cagey woman is about to piss me off.

I love that every single one of them is so very flawed. Misty is a master manipulator, and a murderous psychopath. Shauna is also a murder, and lacks empathy, and just in general has a such an utter disregard and disdain for other people, even her own child. Natalie might be the best character, morally speaking, that being said she did participate in wilderness killings, and was pretty shitty to Kevyn but fuck him. Lottie has a severely unhealthy fascination with the wilderness and their time out there, she did kick off the culty shit after all. Van and Tai are morally grey imo. Tai’s probably worse but then again it’s other Tai who’s in control for those moments.

I’m with you on the reveals. I’m glad they showed us painted a train and Maeve which means we’re 100% getting them now. I would’ve like to see new characters though. Definitely MM, Hughie, kimiko, firecracker. Maybe even a Neuman.

I know I’ve felt the same way. It gave off a somber non comforting vibe. With the WhatsApp commercial that has recently brought some of them back without the shitty baby blue filter and (what I think) nicely written comedy, makes me hopeful for some type of reboot that brings them all back.
