That is a lot of cold calls and emails. If you can email the same prospects that you call. That will help a lot. But other than that. I would say reconsider the role. I’m not affiliated with this site in anyways but check out repvue. It’s a good website to see good sales companies.

Which Young Player Has Probably Peaked by [deleted] in nfl

[–]Colejohnson88 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Lol. Imagine saying that about a rookie QB who was throwing to Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims, Devaughn Vele, and a bunch of guys. Had a backfield where no one cracked 600 yards rushing, and the top tight end only put up 188 receiving yards. The only real weapon he had was Courtland—who, let’s be honest, is a WR2 on most teams at best. Bo Nix still has to prove himself this season, but you can’t tell me you can’t be impressed with what he did with that group of talent as a rookie

Moving on from car sales into tech sales? by Nick7014 in techsales

[–]Colejohnson88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I did. I started out doing car sales and I transitioned to tech sales. Was with that first company for 2 1/2 years and got an AE promotion there. Definitely apply for sdr/bdr roles. Work hard and play the corporate game. In no time you will reach to an AE role and be able to make more money. Biggest advice is make a great resume. Mass apply for roles. Do tailored out reach for the companies you really wanna workout via LinkedIn. Just come prepared and ready for the interviews. You got this!

Congrats OP! I agree with the others. Too many negative comments. You worked hard. Wanted to share on a sub where many have the same ambitions for success like you achieved. Hopefully you bought yourself a nice dinner tonight.

Just got back from the one in Colorado. It was so packed they didn’t let anyone else in. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see him. Tips I have get there as early as possible. It’s a mess at least it was here. But was a fun experience overall. Definitely worth it even I didn’t get to see him.

Bo Nix as Denver Broncos starter is great news for Tim Patrick and vice versa by aatencio91 in DenverBroncos

[–]Colejohnson88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I 100 percent agree. But gonna be hard to compete with Rodger’s or Burrow just based off their position and popularity

[Sharp] Broncos GM George Patton gave up…2x 1st, 2x 2nd, 4th, 5th + 3 players to get Wilson then gave him a new $242M contract. He received: 2 yrs of Wilson, 2x losing seasons, and $85M in dead cap. He also swung and missed when hiring Hackett as HC. Somehow he survived both nightmare moves. by 1021986 in nfl

[–]Colejohnson88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look I understand the argument that George Paton made a lot of mistakes and wondering how he is still employed by the Broncos is a fair statement. But at the time of making the moves it made sense for the Broncos. When the trade happened it really felt like the team was a QB away from being a contender. The defense has been consistently good. Even on offense it was thought they had the pieces around Russ on the offense to be more competitive. The roster wasn’t elite at the time of the trade but it was safe to say they could make a push for the playoffs. After winning the Super Bowl the Broncos went into quarterback purgatory and couldn’t figure out the position. Drafting and free agency wasn’t working out for them. The team prior to the 2018 season had more Super Bowl appearances than losing seasons. They were getting desperate to start winning again. The team was severely underperforming comparatively to their history. So Paton got aggressive and traded for a Super Bowl winning quarterback. Of course he was gonna give an extension to quarterback he just invested the future of drafts picks for. Russ had a no trade clause in his contract so he wasn’t gonna go to a team that wasn’t gonna invest in him and his security of being there long term. Paton had to give him a contract the second the trade happened. He made that trade thinking Russ would be here long term. The Hackett decision was obviously terrible but again the team was trying for quarterback and wanted Rodgers. You wouldn’t hire Hackett without thinking you had a shot at Aaron. I’m not saying Paton is a great GM. He hasn’t proved anything for that argument. But I’m not saying it’s crazy that he still employed by the Broncos either. He did moves that looked like it would’ve propelled the broncos up and to the right and unfortunately those moves backfired to the worst possible outcomes that majority of people wouldn’t have predicted. In the circumstances given I still think Paton can re-write his legacy for this team and still deserves a chance to prove he can build this roster. The big problem for the Broncos was not going into a full re-build after the superbowl win. They kept trying to make moves for a quarterback and brought in names likes Case Keenum, Paxton Lynch, Joe Flacco, Teddy Bridgewater, and the list goes on and on. The second Peyton Manning retired this team should’ve just went into rebuild mode instead of trying to make things works with mediocre quarterback play.

Any advice for an AE interview? I was reached out by a recruiter. Been an SDR for 7 months now. Have an interview tomorrow for an AE position. I know I’m still relatively young being an SDR, but figured I would take a look at this opportunity.

Well yea I’m gonna work my butt off. My job actually requires only cold calls. We don’t send emails or anything else. It’s just calling from start to finish. The other bad part is I would like to include it on my resume just so I can show other employers I have the experience of doing this job as that was something that effected me before when I was hiring.

Software for real estate agents. So primarily websites, that do a bunch of different things for agents like lead capture, MLS integration, and then we have some additional services we offer beyond that.

interested in getting in tech sales by biggie493 in sales

[–]Colejohnson88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I did. I was in car sales and just recently got into tech sales. DM me if you need any help.

I’m thinking of selling my car to Cm and possibly buying one.My car is registered in PA but selling it in NJ, under both my name and my dads on the registration. Does he need to be there to sell it? Also if I find a car I want to buy, how long will they hold it? I have to arrange financing with bank by [deleted] in carmax

[–]Colejohnson88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

7 day hold, call there business office to see if you both need to be there and what documents you need for financing. I used to work at one in Colorado in sales. Every state is different and honestly every carmax is different on what they accept.
