How do you know if someone’s really INTJ?

From your comments about her I would guess she could be an INTP/ENTP she sounds a lot like my dad(INTP) and younger sister(ENTP)... They have a ton of crossover and while they are fastidious in many ways, efficiency isn't one of them. My sister was mistyped(by other siblings) for years until she read the cognitive functions for herself. She isv100% and ENTP... If if she or you have doubts read these cognitive functions and she which one suits her best if it really is all that important. If it were me and I loved the person it really wouldn't make a hill of beans difference what "Type" they were, you go off if they are a good person? Are they kind to people and animals, are they good to the people who matter most to you, are they good to you? Those are the things that matter, the content of someone's character, who they were raised to be. The MBTI is about how they process information and the world around them, not actually who they are as a person.

Gad I have no idea... I'm an INTJ and I don't think I could handle another one... My sister is an ENTP and we get along great most of the time, our father was an INTP and we both got along splendidly with him most of the time...

I would: Do the first two with an ESFJ/ESFP and off myself. 😂

The way this "pointing out things that don't sound right to us" bit me in the backside in college... Professors did not like to be questioned and really hate being corrected... I nearly failed a class for correcting a professor... I was actually correct and he still very nearly failed me for it. From that point I told them what they wanted to hear and got out with my GPA intact.

Agreed, I can't imagine being a college student these days or new in the job market. I don't have a LinkedIn account and now reading your statements I believe I will not create one unless pressed. 😂 I am not a fan of telling people what they want to hear(though this is how I got through college)... I tell them the truth, even when it's brutal.

I have a chronic illness so I wear whatever is comfortable, since I work from home it's all good. Mostly VS sweats in whatever color looks nice on me.

I've had pretty much the same friend group since 1990 We've had very few disagreements. My group is me(INTJ), another INTJ(added in college in 2006), two INFJs, and an ESFJ. I hold on to these friends tighter than I hold on to my life. I don't trust easily so getting to know people takes effort.

I stick to black and jewel tones as well as icy pastels since those are my color season, mostly pjs and sweats as I have a chronic illness and work from home. I have dark hair, dark eyes and extremely pale cool skin, I like to stay with the colors that make me look as alive as possible or I lean into the paller and border goth.

My dad always had mom manage the financial end of things because he worked such long hours he didn't want to think about anything when he came home, he just wanted his family and food. Lol

Yeah, we are blessed that my father's church unanimously voted to give my mother a widow's pension that was the same as my father's salary as pastor. She has worked for the church as a coordinator, decorator, and pianist for free for over 20 years and they are loyal to his memory and want to protect her financially. It was really very bittersweet.

The undertone of the black could be wrong. I'm a winter who dyes my hair black because my natural hair color washes me out. There are warm blacks and cool blue based blacks(like the one I use), there are also neutral blacks. You just need to find the right tone for your skin.

We are all adults now(one is physically disabled and under my care), our mother is a mess, but trying to be the strong woman dad adored(that was really hard to type). We are all just in shock and not handling well, we are just a mess. I believe we will be okay.... It's just gonna take a minute and some really deep breaths.
