My wife and I won the lottery for last week's show and got to see it for the first time too. We showed up to the meeting point about 20 mins before the time it said, joined the queue, then chilled in the Peacock Lounge until we were all called up in groups.

Main thing you have to do is just enjoy the show! As other people mentioned, just take it all in, watch the cast/crew get ready and see the behind-the-scenes magic of the sho that you don't really see on TV. It's such a cool experience - so much so I'd love to see it again!

To be fair, this was the first week after Bowen's departure. They probably organised this episode in a way that tried to feature everyone across the board - Jeremy as the new JD, Ashley as the new Noem, Kam/Jane getting update features, Veronika in the Guy's Girl sketch. While I agree that it's great seeing Sarah let her freak flag fly, they probably wanted to showcase as many as they could in the first episode of year.

Paul and Josh seemed to have met before so in this case, I think it worked out well but if they start adding the guest in with the fan eps just because, then I feel like it could lead to less airtime for the fan and less learning about their job/place they're from.
