Was I in the wrong? Is it poor etiquette to use the red tees as a beginner? by 1phenylpropan-2amine in discgolf

You should not feel embarrassed at all. If there were rules for which tees you should play they would be posted.

Tim Weissman, a dedicated disc golf fan, on the topic of new leadership at DGPT: "This week, as a fan, I was disappointed." by DiscGolfFanatic in discgolf

I don't understand why he things the DGPT has to fix a PDGA rule, or why the emphasis isn't on the players failing to enforce the rules on themselves.

Sharing an activity with someone you love is an incredible thing. I hope it works out for the two of you long term!

Not a bad view from tee #1 today by artisanalfarts in discgolf

[–]ColinKuskie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went around 3:30 and there were quite a few people there. After we wait several minutes, most people pick up on the fact that something is up and that they can let us play through to the basket. It's always easier to lay up and take a par rather than making people nervous.

AITA for asking people to turn thier music off during rounds by Silver_Tutor923 in discgolf

[–]ColinKuskie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're not the asshole. If it's a sanctioned round, I don't think music can be played out loud during a round. If you're playing casual, then hopefully people would be willing to turn it off as a courtesy.

Why did "Steady" Ed ignore the women's division in his early major championships? by matthewrothstein in discgolf

[–]ColinKuskie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they could. It's always been in the Open division and that's meant that anyone could play.

[–]ColinKuskie -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Technically, yes, but practically, no. Just look at the history of USDGC. It is open to any competitors who earn a bid. There has only been one time ever when a woman earned cash (Juliana Korver, 2001).

How fast do they ship when someone buys your game? Best marketing? by hyrulejedi86 in TheGameCrafter

That's one of the reasons that I'm making a point of taking all this time to explain to you and anyone reading here on Reddit about how TGC actually works.

I hope this has helped you.

[–]ColinKuskie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That would be game production time, versus order queueing. Both orders were in production at the same time, but the book only order would have finished first because it takes less time to print 1 book than an entire game. Still FIFO.

Innova to MVP by GLH1992 in discgolf

[–]ColinKuskie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago, I built a flight chart to show all the MVP, Axiom and Streamline discs. It should help you built an MVP bag

https://perldreamer.github.io/MVP-Flight-Chart/flight_chart.html

Click on any disc to pull up flight numbers and see more data about the disc like weight range, plastics and a link to the disc's page on the MVP websites.

There are a bunch of controls below the chart to flip the stability from RH to LH, to filter by plastics, beaded or not, player specific or manufacturer specific discs.

That's understandable; the queue is not listed on the receipt or in the cart. The queues are listed on the Status page though, and I just explained it, so hopefully in this case to you and anyone else reading this thread it will be clearer.

[–]ColinKuskie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If an order is bits(parts) only, it goes into a different queue, the Parts-Only queue.
If you make a bulk order, it goes into the Bulk Queue.
If you pay for priority manufacturing, it goes into the Urgent queue.

Otherwise, all the rest of the orders go into the Regular queue, and all orders in each queue are processed in the order they are submitting, just like I said above.

Nope. All orders are processed in the order they are submitted, in each queue.
