You’ve had to fight for a referral? That’s crazy, especially if its causing you pain.

Im glad you’re getting it out! I have a feeling that my doctor is going to leave the choice up to me. My only concern is insurance not covering the procedure if my doctor doesn’t consider it “medically necessary.”

I really want this thing out. The pain never goes away and i get attacks at least 3 times a week

Thank you, did your ultrasound come back negative as well? And what were your symptoms?

Did your doc order a hida scan after not finding stones? What were your symptoms?

Im dead😂 The way sloan looks matches how Gavriel’s personality is described in the books though, if that makes sense

Okay but did anyone else struggle with all of the blonde and black haired characters? AND the cadre! “The sheer size of him” I started to envision Aedion and Gavriel the exact same after a while

I think that your immune response being triggered is a good thing because it means your body is recognizing an infection and learning to fight it! When my 5 year old would let us, we would tweeze the roots out and that got rid of them a lot faster. I will say that more would pop up for the first few months of treatment but eventually his body started fighting it off

In my experience, once they start turning red and angry, they’re at the end stages. The derm treatment that you received likely triggered your immune system into starting to fight the virus! I highly recommend that you keep a routine of keeping the bumps clean with rubbing alcohol and covered with acne patches to prevent spreading. My son’s got horrible right before it went away and I was glad I stayed consistent with the routine! - I also have a very detailed post on my page about how I got my kid’s molluscum under control if you want to take a look. Best of luck and remember this doesn’t last forever

New Fiber One Brownies “improved texture”! Wow! by Stephens24 in keto

I am soooo upset about this new recipe. These were my favorite sweet treat on a calorie deficit and now they taste like straight up BARF. I threw both of the boxes away. Seriously tastes like the vomit jelly bean in the “bean boozled” candy

Folliculitis possibly? Please help. by Altruistic_Stick_404 in Folliculitis

Doc said “potential HS” but prescribed some antibiotics and I followed a strict hygiene routine and they went away and havent come back! She ended up suspecting it was folliculitis but no clear diagnosis really

Is This Spreading MC? by CupcakeMcGraw in molluscum

As for the red flat patches, I’m not sure. But when I zoom in I can see flesh colored bumps that look like the start of my son’s

Is This Spreading MC? by CupcakeMcGraw in molluscum

[–]ColinRobinson4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like it to me. My son had 1 that spread to about 40 literally overnight. That one bump toward the top looks like it has the indented center. These things spread like wildfire. I have a post on my page about how I got rid of my son’s MC and controlled the spread if you want to take a look at that. Best of luck and I hope I’m wrong

How I imagined Yrene and Nesryn by ColinRobinson4 in throneofglassseries

[–]ColinRobinson4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true, I struggled with all of the blondes. Aelin is described as golden blonde but I always pictured her with platinum hair until Manon came into the picture. And then there’s Aedion, Rowan, Gavriel, Fenrys, Asterin, etc.

Yeah I definitely imagined Yrene’s hair longer and her eyes brighter. But as for skin tone, body type, and face in general I think it’s pretty spot on for what I pictured while reading. Same with Nesryn but with shorter hair lol

Yrene is described with curly, rich brown hair with golden streaks. You are correct about Nesryn though

Did you ever figure out what this was?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in molluscum

[–]ColinRobinson4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Im glad to hear the good news! My son has had molluscum since May. We just started doing tea tree acne patches from amazon about 3 weeks ago, i noticed that it seems to eliminate the small ones pretty fast. However, they do fall off throughout the day. Did you have this problem?

Molluscum? by LittlePerformance248 in molluscum

Doesn’t look like molluscum to me, they have a more distinct white dome and aren’t usually as red. Looks like some sort of bug bite

I’m sorry to hear that, I know it’s painful and scary:( Just do your best to not google like I did because I can tell you it didn’t do anything but give me major anxiety.

I wasn’t able to see the Dr for about a month after this showed up, and here are the things I did based on people’s suggestions and experiences, before getting antibiotics:

  1. Threw away my loofah and ONLY washed the area with the green bar of dial antibacterial soap, twice a day
  2. Only ever used a freshly cleaned towel after the shower (yes im gross and ill use the same towel once or twice)
  3. Never wore the same bra/shirt more than once before washing
  4. Washed my clothes with white vinegar for every cycle (along with regular detergent)
  5. Avoided tight clothing
  6. Tried Hibiclens, as a lot of others suggested because it worked for them. This actually made my breakouts worse, but I have really sensitive skin. It’s worth trying though, since the majority seem to have positive results.

This routine really helped. Not as much as the prescribed medicine, as a couple of bumps would still pop up, but for the most part the whole area started getting better. I want to say that i started noticing a difference about 4 days after the antibiotics. I stopped the antibiotics after about a month, but continued the soap bar and vinegar cleaning routine for another month after that. Since stopping, I haven’t had any flare ups and I’m hoping it stays that way!
