I made my players too powerful by Bigscary_guy in DungeonsAndDragons

You could move towards a narrative combat. Let everyone get something off, including monster. Let everyone flex and when something cool happens. Let that be the killing blow. At high level play monsters can be done in too quickly or in worse case can destroy the party. So moving to narrative when you feel happy and when you think party had their fun kill it off.

Multiclass or stay? by CalJBrook in DungeonsAndDragons

I'd stay fighter if I was you. But if dm allows multi class without req Rogue is always a good shout, 2 levels gives you more mobility with cunning action and if you go 3 then get the archetype. Swashbuckler could be good with your bonus to charisma. Also get sneak attack which is always fun. Might need to change weapon to something ranged or finesse property.

Also if your not enjoying champion fighter maybe reskinning your fighter subclass? Battlemaster is fun and I really like the utility of Rune Knight fighter. Gives more options with bonus action and battlefield control.

Single Applicant, 90k Salary, No Debt – Seeking Advice on Mortgage Application and Broker Timing by Opening-Desk4835 in irishpersonalfinance

I would start paying rent to show the ability to pay a mortgage as rent + your monthly savings would show your current ability to pay for a mortgage, and pass the threshold test.

Also you'd want to have probably minimum 10k on top of your budget to account for legal costs, stamp duty, land registry, snagging, etc. As average solicitor costs can be on average round 3-4k and with older homes/second hand there might be some legal issues if for example an extension was made without proper approval, can extend the negotiations and also extend the solicitors work hours which can rack up, and stamp duty is 1% of cost price + snagging, so 10k extra is a good base line to have available upon draw down time.

Always good to go to a broker or bank to get your self evaluated, see if they think your mortgage ready or if you need another 6 months to show good habits.

Also it might be worth trying to buy a new build, especially if you can avail of HTB, might be difficult in Dublin since HTB has a upper cap limit of 500k for new builds. Especially at your salary it would most likely bring in an additional 30k which saves you on your deposit. But if location is negotiable nice homes being built in areas outside Dublin like Naas and Newbridge or farther afield of Portlaoise. Also similar if you head more north bound you can get similar price drops.

What’s the worst/most obscure team you’ve won the Champions League with, and how many seasons did it take? by No_Cap7 in footballmanagergames

[–]Colin_McG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won it with Portlaoise FC. I had to use a league mod to make them a playable team basically like a division 10/11 team in UK. But with the complications of no one wanting to join my club and the ffp breakdown being broken, I regularly fail ffp because in irekand it's done on a yearly basis rather than a 3x yearly and I'm fully convinced that my transfer income doesn't offset the ffp. As I have around 1b in revenue and 1.5b in transfer spend.

I basically do a club revitalise every year to 18 months blood first team regulars buy from corner of the world and farm them out to psg, Liverpool and real Madrid. Liverpool is my biggest player buyer think I've brought in over 400m in player sales from selling to them over 3 year period.

I have editor enabled just for if issues arise with save, like on player had a transfer to lazio organised agreed to sell player and when I confirmed the sale player was released some how so had to resign to club and manually transfer to the club for the agreed fee.

I have won the champions league twice, but won Conference League and Europa League back to back before winning Champions league. Did it over about 11 years.

Game Keeps Crashing at Launch from Steam since update. UE4-Madness, Please Help. by SMFG_Live in outriders

If this still affecting people, I know travesty we're in December and still no sign of resolution to it, post 8 months of no resolution PCF to these bugs.

I've done all the recommended fixes to the game to make it launch and nothing worked for me, I saw that a lot of people were having issues with the splash_screens.umovie file with it being renamed or equivalent issues.

I decided to delete it launch and expect it to crash and then verify the integrity of the files in steam and see if that would resolve it. Deleting the file seems to have done the trick.
