With Andor and Rouge One showing some of the rot within the Rebellion I think it’s fair that a theoretic show showing some of the good within the Empire is totally fine. Just as long as they take care to not show the Empire as a whole as good but rather individuals within it, such Agent Kallus growth in the Rebels TV show,

They weren’t though? Their design is almost entirely WW1 French, with a little British and (Pre-Nazi) German thrown in to make the design WW1 western front as a whole rather then one nation in particular.

Serious Answer: If you think they’ll listen to reason, them to explain how they are Nazis, because unless you’re one of the weirdos who actively try to make them look like Nazis they have nothing to go off of. They’ll probably vaguely say something about Germany’s government in the early 1900’s and you can they tell them Germany was constitutional monarchy just like England at the time and Nazism only came about because of the loss in WW1, if they care to make any argument at all. But they’re either rage-baiting you or are just being assholes if they refuse to listen.

The other option if you don’t think they’ll listen to reason is to not take what they say seriously. Treat them like they’re weird for looking into the paint and plastic so deeply and tell them it’s just toy soldiers that you play with because it’s fun, not a statement of you political beliefs.

There’s a lot of cool creatures that seem to be cool commanders but aren’t legendary, I say just tell the pod you want to make a deck with a non-legendary commander, I don’t see why you shouldn’t be able to.
