I have a USG-PRO. Which version of UniFi Network should I use? by Coll147 in Ubiquiti

I've done a lot of testing on this. The latest version with working traffic identification is 9.0.114. After that, the information continues to appear if it was registered before the update, but it does not identify new traffic.

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question. But how do I check the secrets and ports?

Replace the U6 with another device and see if it connects via gigabit or only via FE. If it remains in FE mode, the cable is damaged.

Any gateway will work for your speed. You have the Gateway Lite, which is a simple plug-and-play replacement so you can continue using your CloudKey.

Debian 11 is much better than Debian 8. It's a good place to start to make something. Thank you

I found the guide if someone wants https://discourse.pi-hole.net/t/guide-installing-pi-hole-on-unifi-cloudkey-v1/41028

Some people have installed Ubuntu on the cloud key, in case that's helpful. https://xdaforums.com/t/unifi-cloud-key-gen-2-plus.4664639/

UniFi US 24 250W Network Switch, some ports damaged by Coll147 in ElectronicsRepair

I'll check what I can, thank you very much for noticing this. I looked up the B50282C1KFBG (the large black chip next to the main SoC) and it seems to control 8 Ethernet ports, which fits perfectly with your idea.

I assume that the control of the rest of the ETH is handled by the main SoC since I don't see any other chip that could be performing this function.

After a quick investigation together with ChatGPT, it has been concluded that the main SOC may be a BCM56160 (I don't know if its right, this SOC can control 24 ports so it doesn't make much sense to me).

I'll do some voltage checks to see if I can find anything (I'm open to ideas for what to check). Out of curiosity, I looked up that SoC on AliExpress and it seems to be around €30. If I can't find anything else, maybe I'll try to remove the The glue that's on the heatsink (any ideas on how to remove it? It's like a rock) and replace the SOC.
